I have to admit I havent found many beers that I dont like....anything with fruit is a BIG NO NO...but one thing I have done is brewed my own stuff....came out like dog ass the first time, then I went to the store(Grape and Granary, in Akron, OH) got some pointers and made some kick ass stuff. Once I get settled down here in WV I plan on doing some more, the store I use has mail order and their stuff is the freshest I have seen.

After tonight I can highly recommend the Saranac High Peaks Imperial IPA, and Imperial Stout, both solid choices. The IIPA is one of the hoppiest I have ever had, including HopDevil.

I just had a tasty Schlafly Coffee Stout. Perfect for the loser like me who wants a good dark beer but is still working at nearly 2 in the morning.

Actually am fairly impressed with this brand. I had a pale ale earlier in the week that I liked and the winter ESBs I had earlier tonight were both good beers.

Great Lakes Christmas Ale....I tried one last night and was somewhat suprised....But I have yet to meet a Great Lakes beer that isnt good.

Not too much? Something about christmas/winter beers that frighten me. There is a fine line between a good one and one that has too much 'spice' in it. I had a good one the other night. What the heck was that one - I had it at Joe's Crab Shack.

I feel the same way VT, too much spice and its crap, but this one was rather good. I dont recommend drinking more than 2 or 3 of them tho, I had 2 on top of dinner and wasnt feeling all too well....most likely the 22 oz porterhouse and baked potato...lol.

Hey nfbball, Moosehead is certainly good beer, just not one I've been into lately.

Last night I did a few Corona & limes. It's not exactly my favorite after playing hockey, but I needed to keep the lime from going bad.

Actually, after playing golf in the heat, or after hockey, I prefer Bud light. In those conditions your body soaks it up so fast, a bunch of those 5%-ers up here will kick my ass.

I cycle in the Spring/Summer/Fall and my favorite thing after a good 50+ mile ride is a Rolling Rock. I dont know why but it just hits the spot after I finish my water bottles. An icy cold Rock. I always keep some in my fridge during the warm weather months for post ride. Woohooo.
