I'm admittedly a beer snob, and I love trying everything. You'll never see me buy beer at a grocery store...ever.

I'm admittedly a beer snob, and I love trying everything. You'll never see me buy beer at a grocery store...ever. Wegman's is the only one I'll utilize if I'm in a pickle. They tend to have a decent selection of decent microbrews and such that you don't find in any other grocery store. Also, another personal favorite that you can very rarely get around here. I think party source only snags around a case or two a year. Steinlager It's a New Zealand Lager that is light yet heavy and has a real solid taste to it. My cousin got me hooked on it when I was in Hawaii and I snag any six pack I can get whenever I see it. EDIT: Ironically enough I just found out that Steinlager's Lower 48 distributor is none other than the great High Falls Brewing Company, known for such quality brews as Genesee Cream Ale.

Oh boy, talk about a thread that is right in my sweet spot! I'll be adding more and more to this one. I always try local beers while I'm on the road.
And I'm a big fan of the 12-pack sampler that is becoming so popular these days. The remains of my second Saranac Winter Brews sampler is in my beer in the basement at the house right now. Wish they were here.

Yeah, I visited Long Trail's brewery this summer, VT. Loved it. Good stuff. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere - I can't imagine they get a lot of tourists. I liked their IPA and the Double Bag Ale.

Wish they were here. I like it, except for the Winter Wassail or Chocolate Amber. I don't buy it b/c if you don't like one beer you've already lost 1/4 of the case. I enjoy the Scotch Ale, Brown Ale, Nut Brown Ale and their Adirondack Lager.

I'm just 17, so I don't have the choices that you guys have. I'm stuck with the keystone light, etc. My favorite is Molson Canadian though. Labatts is good too, no one ever has any quarrels with that.

These are my favorites when you aren't trying to kill a case: 1) Beamish 2) Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout 3) Black Butte Porter 4) a perfectly poured black and tan Can you tell I have preference for dark, strong beers? Beamish is a true delight. An Irish pub up here used to have it on tap, but the resident Philistines wouldn't drink enough of it so they stopped it. $^$@$#@$%&$#

These days I'm into Warsteiner Mill Street Organic Lager (Toronto micro brew) Grasshopper (from Big Rock Brewery in Calgary - a wheat beer, much like the heffeweizens) Sleeman Cream Ale Okanagan Spring 1516 (all their beers are good)
"Enacted in the year 1516 by Duke Wilhelm IV, the historic 'Reinheitsgebot', or Bavarian Purity Law, states that beer can only be made from all natural ingredients, including Barley, Hops, Yeast and Water."
When I'm in the US I go for Screamers, MGD, Michelob, Sam Adams Summer Ale and I like VT's Saranac Lager, although it gives me headaches.
If any of you wankers ever make it out to Cowtown, I'll stand you a Big Rock Traditional. Lville, you'll like that one.

SUDo0dyfag just emailed me and told me to post his thoughts. He says that he doesn't like beer because it goes straight to his thighs...he prefers white zinfandel. Just thought I'd post that for him, since he can't post it himself.

And they do nicely on a night where you forgot to stop at the store. Favorite all time beers - Alaskan Red on cask at Humpy's in Anchorage Alaska. Absolutely perfect beer. Just delicious. Catamount Oktoberfest after a day of mountain biking at Mount Snow. The beer was in a keg at my cousin's friend's apartment. Drank while playing volleyball. Great day and a fantastic way to finish it.
