I lived in Pittsburgh for 4 years and one of my good friends, father worked at the Latrobe Brewing Co. $9 cases, $22 1/4 kegs $35 1/2 kegs. I think for those 4 years i had more Rock to drink than I had water. Damn Anheiser Bush(sp) Closing the brewry.

I spent this past weekend in Boston with friends. I'm not usually a beer drinker but my friend is...The two best were Harpoon IPA and Sam Adams Seasonal. Both were delicious alone or with a cup of chowda. I like most Saranacs too. Corona (no lime) on a blistering hot summer day.
Oddly...I find a sixer of icey cold Bud the perfect beer companion on the golf course. Don't like it anywhere else.
Still my beverage of choice is a very, very dry Vodka (I'm allergic to gin) martini. Second...a good single malt scotch. I also collect cabernet's and bourdeax's. I have several cases of top shelf reds aging in my wineerator.

Pull out the sleeper couch Jim!

Single Malt...Jim you are now my bestest friend...lol...Ill bring the good cigars to go with the scotch... My old roommate called me a 65 year old man because every Cuse game during college I would have a glass or two of Dewars on the rocks while watching us. I guess I'm just one of those people who aqcuired the taste early. I prefer the single malts though, just don't have the bankroll to drink anything but a blended.

I was actually referring to the cabs & bordeaux's. I can't get scotch, single malt or otherwise, past my nose. Now, irish whisky is another story. Twelve-year old Jameson's is a true delight, even nicer than its Bushmill's counterpart.

Anybody see the story were they robbed a truck or something full of Guinness and got away with a couple hundred kegs of beer in scotland or someplace?
