Last i checked a friend told me they were about $5.50 a pack already. Now $6.75 a pack??? Holy crap, smokes are $3 a pack in Florida. How does NYS justiify this anyway? Unjust taxation if you ask me. No wonder upstate cities are shrinking. Last one to leave, make sure to turn the lights off ...

I am taking my nephew to the Tuscarora reservation in just a bit in NF $7.00 to $7.35 per pack.
Last pack of cirgarettes I ever bought were Salems for $0.64 per pack.

No more violent video games in nys either. Governor put some ban on violent video games now. I guess they will just have to smuggle them across the border and the reservations now.

No more violent video games in nys either. Governor put some ban on violent video games now. I guess they will just have to smuggle them across the border and the reservations now. It's not a ban, it's just a measure to show age ratings on games more prominently and requires adding parental controls on consoles by 2010. It also will set up a council to study the connection between violent games and real violence as well as study the effectiveness of the current rating system.

Set up a council to do research that has already been conducted by hundreds of scholars? Sounds like a waste of money to me. Too many variables to establish a real causation or correlation.
