Love him or hate him, he was one of the original "pushing the boundaries" comics of the past few decades.

As far as I'm concerned, Carlin's only equal in the world of comedy was Richard Pryor. The world just got a little bit more serious.

guy was a true great of comedy -a boundary breaker for sure-
i can still remember when i first heard the 7 words-my buddies mom took it off the record player real fast-lol
