Poor Melo, word is that the Nuggets traded Camby to the Clippers for a 2nd round draft pick. OUCH that franchise is rediculous, there is basicaly no hope for Melo there until they completely clean house in management and the front office. Karl obviously ruining anither franchise.
I really hope that for Melo's sake they are positioning to trade him.

Or clearing up a shitload of cap to the clips who are panicking to replace Brand...Camby is a good player, but at the end of his career and has a huge salary.

Jordoo, I actually came on here today to see what you thought about this...
At least now the Nuggets have 20mil to throw around... I'm very curious to see what they do with it. Camby is a piece of the puzzle I wouldn't have considered getting rid of if I was in the F.O. They might as well pick up a top quality PG now and play up and down basketball because I'm pretty sure there's not any centers out there that could replace Marcus' effort on defense.

I am not against trading Camby even if its just to clear cap space. In fact I think even Camby's defense is rediculously overrated. He cannot guard anybody 1on1 and he routinely rips boards away from teamates even knocking them over from time to time. He is basically only good as a help defender/shot blocker. But the problem is if you know your going to do that use the 20th pick in an insanely deep draft to pick one of the numerous young bigs to be a back up to the often injured Nene and or Martin and resign Eddie who wanted to be there. Plan ahead by telling AI your going to blow up the team and go with all young guys around Melo and try to get him to opt out (long shot but worth a try). It just seems like they have no plan at all. Why keep Karl unless you plan on making another run this year, and if thats the case then this move is just the begining and with that front office it could be the begining of a spectacular dissaster. Even if they are just trying to line up in the Lebron sweep stakes next year when AI comes off the books, they are kidding themselves to think Lebron would go to Denver, he is already in a smaller market. I still think they could have picked up Quinton Ross with that pick from the Clips and he is a defensive specialist that they could use on wing players.
