I belong to this other site and this thread has over 350 pages long and has been going on since 2005 and was pondering how it would do here. And you discuss music in general. I dont know about u but every time i get on the computer music is playing. This is where you post thing song(s) you are listening to or either its a playlist of like 5 or sumthin you say what song(s) it is and who it is by. I'll go first, rap and old rock is mostly my thing.

Lately for myself it has been a lot of Zeppelin, Flogging Molly and Radiohead.
I usually will just put an album on repeat, so I don't end up getting specific songs, but the albus have been as follows:
Led Zeppelin - II and Coda Flogging Molly - Swagger Radiohead - Pablo Honey

After they got back together for that one show at the end of last year things went so well that they will tour. I know they said they never would again but they are using Bonzo's son Jason on drums. I had tickets 2 times for Led Zep in my hand and both times something bad happened,Plant's son died and then Bonzo died. I have seen the Plant and Page Tour 2 times but this next one is gonna be all of them with Jason on drums.

Yeah, I've heard some of the stuff they've played since they "reunited" Dugga, and it seems like Jason is almost as good as his dad. Bonzo was one of the greatest of all time, and apparently he taught his son well.

The Zep Tour has not been announced but too many places are talking about it on the web for it not to be true. Have you heard about it ??? I also think Pink Floyd is gonna do one more tour with Roger Waters,it is a long shot but I feel they will. I have seen them 2 times, not many people have seen Pink Floyd, their concerts are like no other, the sound system at a Pink Floyd concert is like better than the system I have in my house, and mine is hand built from Germany(it is the brand NAD it is not really well known but look it up some time) with 4 Bose 901's,only 3 years old too,the walls shake, for REAL !!.

Currently listening to a band out of the Fresno, California area called Done For Good www.myspace.com/doneforgoodA buddy of mine that's originally from the area turned me on to them a while back and I've had their stuff in heavy rotation ever since. A few people have been turned off by some of the screaming in parts of a few of the songs, but if you can get past that and just listen to the musicianship of the members and the songwriting, it's nothing short of amazing. Not to mention all but one guy in the band is a sound engineer, so the production of the album is downright unreal for a "local" band.

I've come to the realization that Hip Hop is Dead. I've defended hip hop for too long now. Someone forgot to pass the torch along the way.

I've heard him mentioned in the same breath as guys like Nas and Pac in terms of lyrical talent, but I just don't see it. I'll admit that I haven't heard his entire body of work, but what I have heard hasn't been that impressive to me. Maybe I'm just getting too old.
