Oops, sorry eldiablo, I meant sweet little harlot. I've been schooled in classical chauvinism so I like to refer to beauties like her as harlots, or broads or, you get the idea...She's great and I am considering going to see them play at Red Rocks this summer. But there are too many choices for that venue...

I'm schooled in much the same way, but I've seen too many people that fail to appreciate her brilliance so I tend to assume the worst when she's discussed. I'd love to see a show at Red Rocks someday. It's definitely on my bucket list

There is really no comparing Wayne to anyone prominent within the game. Fans who like him are usually younger and can't really relate to the music the Nas, Bigs, Tupacs, Rakims, Daddy kane, etc put out because they just don't know it.
Wayne doesn't freestyle a thing he says. For one...he has ghost writers. He's never been lyrically gifted. he has people in the background putting music on a sheet for him to recite. He's your basic gimmick rapper. I'm not really sure how people even think it's him saying his verses. When is the last time you heard a punch line rapper from Louisiana?(people who are into rap know what I mean) This all started with a rapper named Gillie the Kid from Philly who basically laid the foundation of Lil Wayne's Career. (Carter 1) People who really know Lil wayne know that he doesn't get respect for being an artist outside of anyone in his circle and fans who don't know the truth. He's never had a publishing check written to him in his life because he's never written his own albums. If you scroll through the fine print on his albums you'll see a bunch of different names in the Credits that indicate and give publishing credit to his Ghost Writers. It's sad that he get's away with it to me because I love the music but I can't fault the man for making millions if people are buying it. Life is a hustle. The downside is rappers who are actually gifted at making their own music get overlooked if they don't fit the gimmick or label that their label wants to tag them with, they get dropped. (Joe Buddens) Mood Muzik 3 is probably one of the greatest albums ever made in hip hop but it's not reaching the ears of the fans because there are no ploys or gimmicks. I would recommend everyone check him out and if they need the CD to go buy it. It's on an independent label and on shelves now but struggling to see due to marketing budgets.

I'm listening to a bit of a mix at the moment:
-Eddie Vedder - Mostly tracks from "Into the Wild" Which has then lead me back to some of Pearl Jams older stuff. -Always been a Lil Wayne fan - ghost writers or not. Currently listening to some tracks that leaked from Carter III. -I usually always have a few DMB or System of a Down CD's in my car if all else fails.
What I listen to really varies week by week.

I hate 50. 50 is complete sh*t. I love Lil Wayne. You are right that I wasnt alive during Pacs and Biggies time, well i was young but I said that Lil Wayne is up there with the top rappers who still release things on a consistent basis. I know LIl Wayne doesnt match up to the greats but imo he someday can. I love all of the old hiphop purists but Im talkin bout the present. personally I dont care if he's not writing it, if one of those ghost writers wrote it, then why dont they perform it. Thats just imho... right now im listenin to Get By by Talib Kweli

Thanks... about you living in SOVA (if u call it that), When my family drives to NC to get to Corollia (sp?) beach once you hit Fredrick everything seems pretty country to me. Frederick, MD? I lived there once upon a time and felt like I was in the deep south at times If you have been to Richmond you know its not country. I live right outside of Richmond. Where I live i think it is one of the few places in the US where real estate is actually going up lol. And TbucI heard that Lil Waynes album was gettin pushed back to like June 10th. Ahh whatd i do to lose karma lol

LMAO....Gillie DID write for wayne and wayne still has writers. Gillie isn't a bum he's still spending that carter 1 money. I'm still BEGGING you to name one Louisiana punch line rapper. (you can't) Wayne is a ploy. before gillie got down south to help him it was "wobbily wobbily drop it like it's hot" now he's punch lining? you a bit off...confused. I understand though, you only know one thing. He's a fraud tho and real people know it. It's why he had to get away from the whole cash money thing. He saw that he was able to use a ploy to get into the heads of youngsters like you who don't know any better.
